Miami Rally to Focus on Church Engagement
Miami, FL- Vision America and Alpha & Omega Church in Miami will host a “God Save America Rally” this Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 8:00pm at Alpha & Omega Church at 7800 SW 56th St. in Miami, FL. Hispanic leader Rev. Sammy Rodriguez along with Vision America’s Rick Scarborough will be the evening’s guest speakers. Admission is free.
“Our freedoms are in jeopardy and now more than ever, Christians must stand up and be counted,” says Rick Scarborough, president of Vision America. “America needs The Church to stand up and be involved in the political process.”
Also, a special pastors’ briefing will take place beginning at 7:00pm with Scarborough and Rodriguez. Area pastors are invited and encouraged to attend.
CNN named Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, “The leader of the Hispanic Evangelical movement”. The Wall St. Journal identified him as one of America’s 7 most influential Hispanic Leaders, and the only religious leader on the list. Meanwhile the San Francisco Chronicle de-scribed Samuel as one of the 6 Leaders of the New Evangelical Leadership. Charisma Magazine Identifies Rev. Samuel Rodriguez as America’s most influential spirit-filled Christian Leader in the political sphere. Rodriguez earned his Master’s degree in educational leadership from Lehigh University. Currently he pursues a doctoral degree in Organizational Management and Behavior. By God’s Grace, Rev. Samuel Rodriguez stands as one of America’s Leading Christian Voices.
Rick Scarborough holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary. He graduated from Houston Baptist University, with a double major in Political Science and Speech. In 1998 he founded Vision America and in 2008 he published the widely acclaimed book appropriately titled “Enough is Enough.”
