RagingElephant.org’s Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani to Present Boot Camp
Northern Virginia 912 will host Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani, Founder and Chairman of RagingElephants.org, in a Raging Elephant Boot Camp on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks in Fairfax, Virginia. The event, scheduled at 7:00 pm is open to the public.
The Boot Camp is designed to provide the tools participants need to create a unified vision and purpose within the conservative movement. Participants will learn how to let people of color know where conservative Republicans stand on issues and enlist their support through an aggressive outreach campaign
According to Apostle Claver, conservatives of color are both socially and economically conservative. With this in mind, he is dedicated to growing the conservative voting base primarily through racial diversity. “We envision a rejuvenation of conservatism by seeing more Americans of color join the movement.”
Considered one of the most dynamic speakers on liberty, Apostle Claver offers a unique vision of political ideology from a Biblical perspective.
The non-profit organization, RagingElephants.org was created to be an advocate of conservative-libertarian social, economic and political issues, to lobby political organizations and office holders, to educate and organize the electorate on and for conservative-libertarian ideals. RagingElephants.org is a counterweight to liberal organizations like MoveOn, Emily’s List, and Organizing for America.
Apostle Claver Kamau-Imaniis the Founder and Former Senior Pastor of the Corinthian Christian Empowerment Center (CCEC) in Houston. CCEC’s primary ministry was urban missionary work. CCEC ministered to and housed the homeless, the drug addicted, and those recently released from incarceration. CCEC also established a hospice for the poor where they were cared for, loved, and possibly expired in an atmosphere of dignity and true Christianity.
He grew up in Beaumont, Texas within a home of politics and civil rights. Both of his parents were active leaders in Democratic politics, the civil rights movement, and the Missionary Baptist Church. Apostle Claver is a member of the Republican Party, and sits on the board of directors for the Greater Houston Pachyderm Club.
