AUSTIN, TX- May 16, 2011 – Representative James White (R-Hillister) today announces support for Congressional Redistricting Plan C115 – REP. LAUBENBERG STATEWIDE CONGRESSIONAL PROPOSAL.
White said, “The Laubenberg Proposal is a serious plan that offers East Texas the rural representation it has wanted and has deserved for the past ten years. East Texas contributes considerably to the economy with forestry, oil & gas and agriculture sectors. Our area holds abundant water resources and light manufacturing and needs a place at the table. This map provides us with this opportunity.”
