LUFKIN, TX –November 10, 2011 – Texas Timberjack delivers their first Doosan DX480 Excavator to Lufkin based International Reclamation and Transport (IRT). One of the largest and most powerful excavators in the Doosan line of construction equipment, the DX480 will allow IRT to work quicker and more efficiently in their core services.

The machine is being used to raze structures and recover and shear metals for recovery. DX480 tracked excavator has an operating weight of 108,000 pounds and is powered by a 328-horsepower 6-cylinder Doosan DV11 diesel engine. The unit is equipped with a Genesis Shearer.
Like every Doosan machine, the DX480 Excavator is covered by an innovative 48-hour parts guarantee. The program guarantees that if a “machine-debilitating” part is needed, Doosan will deliver this part to the end user within two business days or Doosan will pay for a replacement machine rental.
